I use Akismet plugin on this blog and I have to say I am quite impressed with it. Till date it has managed to catch over 6000 spam messages in this blog! Not that’s a hell lot of spam messages which I would have had to remove had it not been for akismet.

Best thing is, this plugin is free and comes in the default installation of wordpress. So if you have a wordpress blog, make sure you turn this plugin on to ensure that spam comments don’t pollute your blog!
