Chevrolet Camaro
Yesterday I made a post regarding my favorite car, Ford Mustang. I feel it just wouldn’t be right if I didn’t mention about Chevrolet Camaro, a car General Motor had launched just four months after the launch of Ford Mustang, to stop Ford from gaining a huge lead over them. Especially since the Camaro too has almost the same characteristics as that of a Mustang.

If you look at the photograph of the 1968 Camaro posted above, you will see why this car too occupies a special place in my heart. Add to this it has quite a history, especially behind its name. Since I am no car historian, you can read about the history of the Camaro here.
Camaro just like the Mustang was available in two avatars, one with an inline 6 engine and another with a powerful V8.
Fast forward to today and the new Camaro, generation five to be precise, develops a whopping 400bhp from its six liter v8 engine and looks quite good with its retro 60s look.

These are the kind of cars that leaves an impression in your mind with not only their raw power but also due to their styling, which is far more muscular than the present day sports cars.
