Ford Mustang GT 2007
Yesterday’s post about Ford Mustang was mostly devoted to 1969 Mustang Mach 1 and how much I love this beauty. Well today I thought why not post some thing about the car that is currently on sale for public. Yes that’s right; today I am talking about the 2007 Ford Mustang and Mustang GT in particular.
Why GT?
Well because it has the powerful V8 engine and Shelby 500 is prohibitively expensive and is an overkill for the normal roads and sane drivers, though absolutely a hoot for speed freaks.
So let’s start with the engine, well it’s the same as the last years. 4.6L V8 producing 300HP @ 5750 and 320 lb.-ft of torque @ 4500, which is good enough for a top speed of 240 kmph and does 0 to 96.56 kmph (60 miles an hour) in 5.2 seconds.
That might not be enough to put a Ferrari to shame, but there is always the Shelby 500 producing a whopping 500 HP from its V8 heart.

While Ford might have changed a lot of things in the current generation of Mustangs, but the looks are still that of a typical Mustang. Not that it’s a bad thing or any thing; in fact it looks absolutely smashing!

Price for the GT base model starts at Rs. 1,015,512 which should come out to be roughly 2 million rupees if imported in India, which I feel isn’t a lot for a car like this and would definitely like to see it being officially launched by Ford in India.
