It’s been exactly two years since I started Yogesh Sarkar.com, which was my first real attempt at making a website. Before this I had only made a blogspot blog (just a month before I moved to this site) and few years back, a four page website at tripod.

However it wasn’t until I started this site, that I realized that I could actually become a webmaster and earn my living doing things I like! This in turn prompted me to start BCMTouring. Which at this moment, isn’t only the largest website I own, but also happens to be the one that I am most proud of, because through it I am not only able to reach out to like minded travelers and share my experiences and knowledge with them, I can also hear their side of the stories and learn from their experience and knowledge, not to mention have a great time doing all this.

Coming back to Yogesh Sarkar.com, the site itself has seen many changes in past couple of years, from various designs to the site structure and features; however the main aim remains the same, which is to be a window into the life of Yogesh Sarkar i.e. Me.

In the coming month I would be clearing out the backlog and would be posting at least four travelogues which should have been posted a long time back and if every thing goes according to the plan, I should also be posting the travelogue of the crazy Himalayan ride that I am planning right now. While later this year I would hopefully be on my way to undertake the biggest and probably toughest ride of my life.
