Time for a new motorcycle?

Whether I like to admit it or not, fact is, my motorcycle is getting old and signs of age are showing. Add to this, my rides are getting more and more demanding, which isn’t helping either.

While I can’t go ahead and get a new motorcycle right away (don’t want to buy it on finance), I think I might be able to get one towards the end of this year or in the first half of next year.

So far I have my eyes set on four motorcycles, which I think will be good enough for my style of riding.

These are:

Bajaj Pulsar DTS-i 200

Bajaj Pulsar DTS-fi 220

Hero Honda Karizma

Royal Enfield Machismo 500 AVL

While I have ridden most of them, I’ll once again be test riding and analyzing them over the course of next few days.

Since I don’t think there will be any launches of motorcycle good for touring for quite a while (apart from Karizma Fi), I think it would be safe to make my mind now and start saving accordingly (can’t afford nor will I even consider an imported bike).

So over the next few days, you’ll be treated with my opinion of which of these motorcycles I think is best suited for touring and why.

Watch this space…

Ps. I am not considering the new 180 because with the 200 only a few thousand dearer, it just doesn’t make any sense.
