Small drive on the Delhi – Mathura highway

Yesterday morning I got a call from Manik, asking me if I wanted to meet him at Salil’s place in the afternoon and then join them for a small drive on the Delhi – Mathura highway.

The idea sounded enticing, especially since I had already thought about going to Salil’s place this week.

So in the afternoon I went to Salil’s home, where Manik and Eric were already present and waiting for me. After a quick hello, it was time to move.

But before we could leave Delhi, it was time to fill up CNG in the Santro. Santro running on CNG is more economical than my bike!

After filling her up, we were all ready to hit the highway. It was time for me and Salil to take out our cam and start clicking.

Time for a quick stop, while smokers smoked, I shot a couple of photos with my cam…

Finally we reached the dhaba, sadly yesterday I had the Tuesday fast, so couldn’t eat anything beside salad :(

Time to drive back home

All in all it was fun, though I have noticed that I get more tired traveling in a car than while traveling on my motorcycle!
