I want to hire two Indian Motorcycles (Hero Honda or Bajaj)150cc for 10 days. How can I get this and how much money?

My recommendation would be to not waste a day in Manali, instead of this you can visit Solang Nallah (it is en route to Rohtang with a small diversion mid way) and then from there ride to Keylong and spend the night there. This would help you split up Manali – Leh journey into 3 days and provide you a better chance of acclimatizing to the high altitude.

With regards to Leh – Srinagar – Chandigarh, it is quite decent and easy compared to the Manali – Leh route. It would take you approximately 4 days to reach Chandigarh with a night stop at Kargil, Srinagar and Jammu or Pathankot. The route which you would have to take would be:

Leh – Lamayuru – Kargil – Drass – Zoji La – Sonamarg – Srinagar – Udhampur – Jammu bypass (if you want to skip Jammu) – Pathankot – Hoshiarpur – Kiratpur – Chandigarh.

actually we are planing chandigahr to manali in one day then rest.and visit solang nala. is it worth to visit solang nala.and please tell me about route of leh >srinagar>chandigarh

i m Som from chandigarh.sir, i have seen ur replies
and suggestion.so i thought u
r the best who can guid us .we group of 13 people are
planning for leh on bikes via manali.we have shortage
of two bike.so need some help abt it and give some knowledge about weather and from where we can get clothing on rent from delhi/chandigarh/ludhiyana.
and please give some tips and precautions about the
trip.we have a plan of 10 days from 18th may
manali-leh-srinagar-chandigarh.
