A small clarification
A small clarification to every one who read yesterday’s post about opening of Srinagar – Leh highway. As those of you clicked on that link and read the full report already know, it was a April fool prank from me, just thought I would post this for the benefit of those, who didn’t read the whole thing and thought it was real.
On a serious note, Srinagar – Leh highway is expected to be opened for vehicular traffic this month. As soon as it opens, I’ll post the details of it in this blog and don’t worry no more pranks till next year.

We are planning a trip to Leh from Srinagar side by road in middle of May 2009. Will the rourte be open for light vehicles by that time?
Can you please also tell us when the route did open for light vehicles in 2008?
