Leaving on a backpacking/pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi
Last month when I wrote the post, “Time to give my motorcycle a break†I never thought I would be leaving on a trip without my beloved motorcycle, so soon.
My dad and sister had planned to go to Vaishno Devi this week, however due to dad getting ill it wouldn’t be possible for him to leave, so I’ll be leaving for Vaishno Devi, as early as tomorrow!
It’s been over 13 years since I last visited Mata Vaishno Devi and almost three years since I last traveled in a bus! But now, I’ll get to do both, on the same trip!
It’s going to be a hectic day tomorrow as I would have to cancel the train tickets booked for sis and dad, book tickets for the bus, do last minute shopping and pack my luggage and get to the bus depot by evening.
The bad news is I got the info from a friend whom I had lent my digital camera that it is not working, so I might have to use a manual one on this trip. I am really hoping that this is not the case and it is just the matter of the battery not working, since it is too late now to purchase a new one for this trip.
