Can't really comment on No Smoke as I haven't yet used it. But if your bike is consuming oil due to heating excessively, then it might be a better idea to look for the reason behind the overheating issue (most likely due to being run lean). I believe it's coming from around the pistons. Since I know this problem happens only when the engine oil is thinned because of the heat, I was looking into using some Bardahl "NO SMOKE" oil treatment. I called the Bardahl 1-888 number and there tech staff said it’s okay to use this product in my machine. The direction from them is 2 oz per quart.
