Lonely Planet India

Today I received my copy of Lonely Planet India (12th edition), which I have wanted to purchase for a long time and finally ordered one on Sunday through Indiaplaza and got the delivery of it an hour back.

With the coupon I had, I only had to shell out Rs. 271 (US$6), including shipping! Which is a fantastic deal since the original cost of Lonely Planet India is Rs.995 (US$22).

While I haven’t read much at this moment, the few pages I have gone through, have only reaffirmed my faith that it is one of the most comprehensive India Travel Guide one can buy. Since it contains the details  of almost all the touristy places in India, I don’t think I’ll have to purchase another travel guide unless I plan to venture out of India.

Well got to go, got some reading to do :)

    Initially I also thought that I would be receiving the 11th version, but ultimately got the delivery of 12th edition. Maybe they have run out of the 11th version and started delivering 12th version or I got lucky. Either way, I am not going to complain :D
