Pankaj unless the battery goes dead, there shouldn’t be any issue in using self starter, in fact I have used it even at cold and high altitude areas like Ladakh and didn’t face any issue.

i own a 180 ug3 and my battery is dead too. but before replacing it with a UPS battery i would like to know if the self start works perfectly OK or does it miss at times.

Interesting about the battery. I vaguely remembering reading about it a while back, but good to see it’s lasted so well and that 7AH works ok. And it’s lighter and smaller, and much better to have a sealed battery. I’ll definitely do that when my battery fails.
