Launch of Trekking Guide to Western Himalayas
Couple of hours back, I came back from the launch of Trekking Guide to Western Himalayas.
Trekking Guide to Western Himalayas is written by Depi Chaudhry and has been published in India by Harper Collins, in association with India Today Group.
The book launch was held at IMF (Indian Mountaineering Foundation) Delhi and Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora (Minister of Tourism and Culture, J&K), Mr. Nasir Aslam Wani (Minister of State for Tourism, J&K) and Mr. Milind Soman (actor and model) were the chief guests.

Trekking Guide to Western Himalayas contains information about trekking routes in Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and I have a autographed copy of the Trekking Guide to Western Himalayas with me and would be posting a review of it in the coming days. Before that I would also be posting a long over due review of a coffee table book of Ladakh, which I had received a while back.

I am very eager to read this book as I am very much interested in doing trekking. I have have done trekking in western ghats(Karnataka) and now moving to gurgaon so will be looking for trekking in Himalaya’s ‘My dream’.
