Cramster MX-3 Gloves, first impression
As you must have read in the last post, I recently bought Cramster MX-3 Motorcycle Gloves, to be used as summer riding gloves. Today I went to Karol Bagh and had a chance to try them out in the heat (40+ degree Celsius temperature) and humidity of Delhi and here is my initial impression and review of them, a much detailed review will follow later.
To start with, Cramster MX-3 felt quite comfortable and the grip they provided was quite good as well and I never felt my hand slipping or loosing grip of the handle bar or clutch/brake lever. Though reaching for horn and indicators was slightly difficult and I think it will require some time for me to get used to them.
They were as cool if not cooler than the Rs. 150 mesh gloves I was earlier using as city riding gloves, even though Cramster MX-3′s palm area is made up of leather and has quite a lot more protection and even the mesh fabric is a lot thicker. All this meant that my hand was feeling way less heat than my forearms (I was wearing half sleeve shirt), especially when I used to rest two of my fingers on clutch and brake lever (old habit), as it allowed more airflow compared to all fingers bended and gripping handlebar.
Overall quite satisfied with Cramster MX-3 till now, let’s see how they fare in long term usage and in particular in rain, when quite a few gloves start losing their grip.

Boss, i got hold of a pair today, as you were saying, this pair is meant for dry weather commute and not for rainy season, so you need to look for alternate gloves during rainy season than spoiling your mx3 which has leather in it
I don’t think leather would get spoilt, as even waterproof and cold weather riding gloves are made of leather. Of course that is something that I would only be able to confirm over time, so don’t take chance, just based on my thinking.
