Returned to TweetDeck

In February this year, I stopped using TweetDeck after my Twitter account was hacked (full story). Even though I wasn’t completely sure, whether or not, it was due to TweetDeck and despite of assurance from Richard Barley, TweetDeck Community Manager.

Well on Saturday I decided to reinstall TweetDeck, even though I am still not 100% sure about what had happened. Move to switch back to TweetDeck came, after my Twitter account refused to stay permanently logged in and I had to repeatedly enter password or keep the browser window open. Not sure whether it was due to some technical glitch with Firefox and Google Chrome or with my Twitter account, but is was annoying enough for me to contemplate installing a Twitter desktop client again.

After browsing through several of the Twitter Desktop Clients, I knew I had to reinstall TweetDeck, as nothing else felt or looked better, of course the promise of familiar interface was luring too.

So now I am back to TweetDeck and enjoying my twitter experience more than ever before, of course the real dampener was that several people in the last few months had tweeted with @yogeshsarkar and I hadn’t seen those tweets and thus hadn’t responded to them.

If you are one of those individuals, I sincerely apologies, hopefully this won’t happen again.
