With this years ride being a solo one, I am still in two minds whether or not take a tent along.
On one hand, it would be fun to do a bit of camping. Also it will give me freedom to travel on my own with no time restriction for reaching a particular place.
But on the other hand, it will be a pain to carry the tent and sleeping bag as they will occupy almost the entire rear seat. Add to that, pitching a tent for the first time and that too above 14000ft above sea level with no one to help.
Guess it will finally come down to the last few days and most probably once I have the saddle bag and an idea what all I would be carrying and how much space they would occupy.
