2010 Surajkund Handicraft Fair is all set to being on the first of the next month and will be open to visitors till the 15th of February.
Surajkund mela has been one place where I have been going to continuously for past three years, as it provides me with ample opportunities for photography and I really enjoy the fun atmosphere there.
So I am planning to go back there this year as well and if you are a photography enthusiast, who loves to take portraits as well as photographs of performances and various colorful things on sale at the mela, then make sure to visit Surajkund, I am sure you will come back with full memory cards and a smile on your face.
Of course don’t forget to take plenty of spare memory cards and zoom lenses, as they really come in handy.
Apart from that, the only tip I would give is, avoid going there in the weekends, if you do not like crowds (usually bad for photography) and go early in the morning (fair begins at 9am).

hey yogesh..when r u planning to be there..??i am also planning to early mng, primarily 4 photography purpose only..do u hv any idea of the schedule there..??like when will the folk dance happen for which state..is there any order for that or it is just a random thing.??.i will be primarily interested in capturing these events..let me know if u get any info about this from anywhere.
