Yesterday I received a copy of MapmyIndia National Motoring Atlas for review.
According to Mapmyindia, their National Motoring Atlas is much more than a map book and provides its readers with 101 enchanting things to do in India, a list of emergency numbers, practical information about preparing for a long drive, national highway information along with historical and festive timelines.
Which on paper sounds like just the thing a travel enthusiast would need, while exploring the length and breadth of India.
So I will be reading and reviewing the National Motoring Atlas in the coming days and also comparing it with the Eicher Road Atlas, which these days I take with me on my tours.

YS, i’m waiting for detail review.
Hey YS, Any update on the review? How is this one and does it cover Ladakh properly?
DeeJay I will be posting the review of it in the next few days, as I didn’t get a chance to review it till now.
On first glance at lest the Zanskar sector looks quite similar to Eicher Road Atlas, which isn’t as detailed as the map created by Bharat.

waiting 4 ur review.
If possible also post at BCMT
In my opinion Eicher Road Atlas is better than National Motoring Atlas. First Eicher is 1:2 million scale whereas RF in NMA is slightly on lower side .Second district and state boundaries are crispy and and you can easily identify them. There are many roads which are not displayed in National Motoring Atlas like Bageshwar- Kapkot-Shama_Munsiyari.There are some major Tehsil on district level are missing from NMA like Mohanlalganj in lucknow district which in on the state highway to Allahabad. In my opinon Eicher road is better it. ERA has Cryptographically followed standard color the depict reliefs. As a map collector I will strongly recommend Eicher road atlas over NMA by mapmyindia.
