Well I guess I have just made history today, since my Intel Core2Duo E4500 (2.2 GHZ) processor is right now running at a whopping 5.2GHZ i.e. almost twice the speed it was designed to run at!
What makes this even more shocking is the fact that this feat was achieved with the stock Intel cooler (pathetic to say the least) and in a case with only three low power fans running (1x120mm front intake, 1x80mm side intake and 1x80mm rear exhaust) at stock speed!
To top it all, the outside temperature in New Delhi, India is well above 40 degree Celsius (104 Degree Fahrenheit)!
Here is a screen shot to prove the incredible feat my computer has managed to achieve!
And all this is thanks to Core Temp 0.99.6 software, which was clearly malfunctioning when I took that screen shot :D.
