Today I went to the Okhla Bird Sanctuary in Delhi for a bit of bird photography and while photographing all types of birds is a challenge, small ones like Sunbirds are even more difficult to capture. More so due to the fact that they move quite swiftly and don’t rest at the same place for too long and are so dark in color, that one usually ends up with a silhouette of the bird, than the bird it self! 😀
Photographs below of the Purple Sunbirds took me well over half an hour to capture and frustrated me to no end and even though they haven’t come out as good as I hoped they would have, but they are decent nonetheless and worth sharing.
