Today I managed to shoot a few photographs of the Common Rose Butterfly, which has now been a constant visitor in our home garden, for past couple of weeks, ever since the flowers started to bloom.
The biggest problem that I faced with capturing Common Rose Butterfly was the fact that it just doesn’t holds still and keeps on flying around and flapping its wings, even while it is sitting on the flowers. Which means that majority of the shots of these butterflies, come out looking like this.
So this time around, I decided to give the butterfly some space and attached my Canon EF-S 55-250 IS lens and thanks to that, butterfly not only remained for a longer duration, but also posed for these photographs.
Based on this, when I go for the Macro Photograph Walk in the coming days, I will be carrying my telephoto lens, since this is butterfly season in New Delhi!
