Got my bike’s front disc brake setup changed last Sunday, essentially the master cylinder, calipers and the disc plate itself. Couldn’t find the original length brake hose (DTSi one is longer) and hence decided to stick to the one which was has already been doing duty on my motorcycle for the last 9 years and thankfully, hadn’t developed any leakages (washer had, so got it replaced as well).
Apart from disc brake setup, also got the tappets adjusted (they were a little tight) and slight tuning and now my bike is running pretty well and stopping easily as well :D. Although the whole exercise set me back by Rs. 3500, it was well worth the trouble and it is always great to see and hear your beloved motorcycle running at optimal level.
Odometer now reads 75,685 km.
