Monsoon is supposed to bring rain, though in Delhi this year, it brought very little rain and four meanderers, hell bent upon exploring the wet and green India in a season when majority of the foreign tourists in India, head to places like Ladakh. On Saturday evening, not only did I get a chance to meet them, but also had a lovely dinner with them at Swagath Restaurant in Defense Colony.
Kev, Jane, Emilia and Amy are in India for a month long trip, spanning across North, Central, Southern and Western India.
You can catch their journey across India on their India Travel Blog, Monsoon Meandering, which has already started seeing some interesting travel anecdotes from their ongoing trip.

Hi Yogesh, I’ve only just seen this article as I wasn’t reading my RSS syndication feeds whilst away. It was great to meet you and the others at the FED meet at Swagath. So sorry I couldn’t locate the correct Metro station on the Sunday otherwise I would have been able to meet up some more.
The kids have already told me they’re expecting to go to Ladakh in two years time…and we only got home yesterday. Who knows if that plan will come off but if it does we’ll meet again. 🙂
