Yesterday evening I got together with a few fellow photogs and went out for a shoot at Hauz Khas Tank.
It’s been a long time since I went for a photography walk and it was a great to be out there shooting again, even though it was obviously quite hot and we really had limited photography opportunities there. But we nevertheless made good with what we had and below are the results of photo outing to Hauz Khas Tank.
All the above photographs were shot with my Canon EOS 1000D DSLR and Canon EF-S 55-250IS lens with a Hoya HMC UV filter mounted on for protection.

YS… great pics as usual…
but i think 3rd should have been tight cropped. that branch is bit distracting in the top… and the 5th is my favorite..
Thanks Rahi, I guess you are right, but the truth is, I kind of really liked how that branch made its way to the top.
Gorgeous pics. I love the f-stop of the first pics with the hollyhocks. I would crop the top off of it, too, and agree with Rahi about the ducks (better to shape the composition as if the reflection were a real physical third duck–the branch still would figure into the top anyway). But mine are just idle comments hardly worth attention.
I love the bee shot!
Thanks Jonico for the feedback, first one was shot at f5.6 and all the images have EXIF embedded.
