I came back from Dharchula yesterday and posted my travelogue on BCMTouring, which you can read here, Dharchula – Darchula, a walk across bridge.
Trip to Dharchula was special for me, because it was the first time I visited a foreign country. And while this was more a normal trip than anything else, this mind continues to wander each time I travel and I continue to take that opportunity for deep contemplation.
This trip was no different and in a way helped me find some of the answers I was looking for and strengthened my resolve towards the most important things/issues in my life.
I also saw several life lessons or signs during this trip, maybe they weren’t really that and I was just seeing normal occurrences around me and trying to interpret them by relating those instances with me. But I guess in the end it comes down to us, whether we choose to shrug things off or take them as signs from God of an impending doom, if we continue on the path we have chosen. However, doom or no doom, sometime you have to do what your heart tells you to do, even though you know it may lead to a situation which you end up regretting at multiple junctures and at your deathbed. But you choose to do it nonetheless, because somethings in life just cannot be explained or rationalized. They can only be understood within the depth of our heart.
