Today I finished writing my travelogue of Ladakh and you can read it here, Ladakh and Hemis Festival + AMG G55, a treat to die for.
This was an extremely special trip for me and even though quite a few things happened which dampened my spirits, however significance of this trip can never be understated and it will forever remain in my memory as one of the most important journeys of my life.
I will be brutally honest here and say this outright, this isn’t the best travelogue I have written. If anything it is abrupt and lacks focus, which was sort of my mental state at that time and I haven’t changed it while writing.
However even a travelogue is a journey of sorts and during this journey I have discovered something quite important. I have always kept things I couldn’t do for next trips; this has always been my strategy. To go back and accomplish things which I was unable to execute the last time I was there. However, now, it does not matter.
For each trip is a different journey and ought to be treated as such, not a mere extension of earlier one.
Each time one should travel with a clean slate, with a different purpose and a different light, so as to not only revisit a place we love so much, but to rediscover it and fall in love with it all over again.
