A special trip to Ladakh for immortality…

It takes certain level of insanity to follow your dreams to the end; to push yourself, your body, your mind and your soul to the brink in order to do what your heart told you to do. No matter what others think, no matter how difficult the path and no matter how many times you fail, in the end all that matters is that you went after what you dreamt and didn’t gave up, no matter what.

For giving up is easy, it is the easiest thing in the world actually. Yet it is also the hardest, for remorse fills our life and stays with us forever. Remorse of letting go; just when things become difficult or when things started falling apart, after all it is a scary feeling to bet it and bare it all, hoping that no matter how difficult the things become, in the end you will succeed in achieving your dream. Because you didn’t gave up, just when things got difficult, because night is darkest before the dawn.

Yes there are second thoughts and there are moments we lose all hope, however it is part of human nature to doubt our ability, to cast shadow over our dreams and make it seem unachievable. However if we can learn to rise each time we fall and continue no matter how painful and difficult the journey, we become stronger and more resilient and that much more determined to see our dreams become a reality.

In a few hours I will be flying to Leh to follow my dream, biggest one yet and one which has changed me as a person and as a writer.

For I had been wanting to write a novel for past couple of years or so, however the story has never been this clear, determination never this strong and willingness to go beyond what my body, mind and heart can endure, never this ruthless. For the story has changed from what I originally thought it would, it is now that much more closer to the heart and when the heart mixes reality with dream, it results in a symphony which flows out unabated and becomes timeless literature.

For human emotions do not change with time, only setting and objects change. However these emotions become immortal and live on, long after we turn to dust and even our memories fade away, as the generations move on.
