I came back from Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand, early in the morning. From what was my 9th trip of this year, and 5th trip this year to Kumaon.
Needless to say, I am deeply in love with the beauty of Kumaon. And even though Kumaon wasn’t as lush and green as she was during monsoon season. She was a sight to behold.
On top of it, my beautiful room at KMVN Mukteshwar ensured I was the in the lap of Himalayas. Even when I returned to my room. Thanks to this view from the balcony.
This was the first time I was traveling with AS. Even though we had met once and had been thinking about traveling together for past few months. Circumstances made it impossible until now.
Having her company not only ensured I ended up going to Mukteshwar. I also learned a lot from her, during our trip. And had a great time.
Even though this was a weekend trip. And we spent only one night in Mukteshwar. I got to do a lot of photography and videography this time. Since the vistas were out of this world.
Even though I did splurge a bit by taking Volvo from Delhi to Haldwani and back, and taking a taxi from Mukteshwar to Haldwani (we went by bus to Mukteshwar). And also at trying out various cuisines. It was essentially a backpacking trip into the lap of Himalayas. And a fairly interesting one.
Of course, to know the full story, you have to wait for the travelogue. The travelogue will take a little time. Since I am currently working on Ladakh travelogue. And will be traveling to Pushkar this weekend.
Hopefully, by end of next week, I will begin working on the travelogue of this wonderful trip. In the meanwhile, if you have any queries about Mukteshwar. Please feel free to ask.

beautiful place
I have been to Mukteshwar, while I was on my trip to Nainital and adjoining area early this year. It is a mesmerizing place to be in.
