It’s been 11 years since I started blogging and yet, it doesn’t feel like it was that long ago I was registering YogeshSarkar.com at Godaddy and trying to build a website and blog.
I guess this is what interesting journeys do to you.
They seemingly make the time fly, until one fine day; you look back and realize how far you have come.
And this journey has been a really interesting one, in fact one of the best if not the best journeys of my life.
Due to blogging I have managed to meet so many wonderful individuals, attended numerous launches, events and parties, reviewed tons of gear, conducted photography workshops, became guest speaker at events, authored a book, dabbled so much in photography and videography, learned a lot and most importantly, I have been able to help others like me, just by sharing my experience.
I believe, this is what makes this journey so interesting and fun. Because even though I started writing for myself, I have been able to reach out to so many others, who are in similar position or dilemma.
My journey with blogging has had its ups and downs, I have been on long hiatus at times and my writing here has reflected whatever state of emotions I was in at that point of time in my life.
In a way, it has been a reflection of my life, and still is.
This is what I like to do, even though it isn’t what some people want nor is the most profitable thing to do.
After all, I am a professional blogger and I do make a living out of blogging and I have been doing that for the past 11 years.
Yet, it isn’t just a profession.
It is much more than that.
It is a life I chose and a life I adore. And there is nothing in this world, which can be as fun, as living your dream life…
