Warehouse Café, Gurgaon (Sector-29) Review

Last Saturday, Neha, Narayan and I went to the Warehouse Café in Sector 29, Gurgaon.

When we reached Sector 29, we were undecided on where to head next. We had been to Factory by Sutra and loved the ambiance and music there. We initially went to the Walking Street by Soi7, but couldn’t find a table there and hence left.

After a while, we decided to head to the Warehouse Café, since the one at CP is pretty decent and we got a good deal for it on Nearby App.

At Warehouse Café, we went to the basement, where the DJ and dance floor was at. We had to wait 10-15 mins at the bar, before a table got free.

Ambiance wise, there isn’t much to like or dislike about Warehouse Café, it is alright and nothing fancy (at least the basement).

Sadly, the music was a little boomy for my liking and since it was a Bollywood night, DJ was playing pretty much everything, including Punjabi songs and a few English songs as well. On the whole, it was just about alright.

Service, on the other hand, was pretty fast and we got our drinks and starters fast enough.

However, the starters were lukewarm at best. Add to that, Devil’s Fried Honey Potato were bland. BBQ Chilly Paneer, on the other hand, was delicious and something all three of us really liked. Serving size too was quite good.

The LIIT we ordered was delicious and strong, though it cost us the same as the 2 starters + 6 drinks deal we got from nearby.

On the whole, we had a great time, danced pretty much all the time we were there. Initially next to our table and then on the dance floor and it was pretty good.

However, it seems they allow stags in as well and we had to elbow a couple of guys on the dance floor, to get them to behave.

At the end of the day, we had a great time at Warehouse Café and the prices were on par or slightly less than most good pubs in Sector 29, Gurgaon.
