Dreams do come true, and one of mine is about to. I had been thinking/planning/hoping to travel to Kashmir during the autumn season to witness beautiful Kashmir Valley at her stunning best, in her fall attire.
In fact, I had almost made up my mind to do that this year, but somehow the plan didn’t materialize. Until I was approached by Jagjit from Aru Eco Resort and JK Tourism to take part in JK Tourism’s Familiarization Tour of Kashmir.
An all-expense paid trip to Srinagar, Betab Valley, Aru, Chandanwari, Pahalgam, Strawberry Valley, Leopards Valley, and Gulmarg i.e. a cake with a cherry on top, that I get to savor and enjoy for the next 3 days.
With numerous cultural programs and events lined up, this is going to be one hell of a trip and even though it might just be a little more hectic than my usual trips, it is something I have been looking forward to quite eagerly.
I’ll try and post regular updates on my Facebook and Instagram accounts, provided internet connectivity remains good. And once I am back from the trip, I am sure I’ll have a treasure trove of beautiful photographs and videos from the valley to share with you.
It is time now for me to head to the airport and catch the flight to the beautiful Kashmir Valley.
Happy travel…
